Flaunting its prowess in the field of photovoltaics, Japanese electronics manufacturer Sanyo teaming up with Ryobi, has come up with a public transport that harnesses solar energy to power the lights within and a few ingenious air scrubbers named Eneloop Air Fresher to provide cleaner air to the passengers. Dubbed "Solarve Bus," the futurist vehicle integrates photovoltaic panels on its roof that provides renewable energy to illuminate and purify the interior, while reducing the stress on the battery and engine. Harnessing the renewable solar energy, the clean, green solar machine has become the world's first bus to use solar power in this particular manner.
