സൗഹൃദം കൊതിച്ചു, ഹൃദയങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കിട്ടു, മനസ്സിന് മനസ്സും നല്‍കി, എന്നിട്ടും... വസന്ത കാലത്തില്‍ എന്റെ രൂപത്തിന് പകരം വെറും ശുന്യത മാത്രം വാക്കുകള്‍ കൊണ്ട് സ്വപ്ന സൗധങ്ങള്‍ പണിതു മനസ്സുകള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ ഇണ ചേര്‍ന്നു ഇനിയും കണ്ണുകള്‍ തമ്മിലെന്തേ ഉടക്കിയില്ല? മനസ്സ് മനസ്സിനെ അറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ അത് സ്നേഹമായി, ആ സ്നേഹത്തെ തടുത്തപ്പോള്‍ അത് സങ്കടമായി, ആ സങ്കടത്തെ പുറത്തുകാട്ടാതെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ അതൊരു വേദനയായി, ആ വേദന ഇന്നുമൊരു കണ്ണീര്‍മഴയായി... എങ്കിലും ആ മഴയില്‍ നനയാന്‍ കൊതിക്കുന്നു ഞാന്‍... അല്‍പനേരമെങ്കിലും ആ നിമിഷം തിരികെ കിട്ടിയെങ്കിലോ? അതിനായി ഞാന്‍ ഇനിയെത്ര മഴ നനഞ്ഞാലെന്തു?
