IT IS HIGH TIME TO TAKE STRINGENT LEGAL ACTION AGAINS THIS LADY. I wonder why the government is not taking any action against her?She must be treated as a TRAITOR.Kashmir was/is an integral part of India. The so called seed of turbulancy has been sown during the time of partition only due to the vested interest of Pakistan. During the time of partition the King of Kashmir (Hari Sing) wished to remain as an independent one. But, when the King envisaged brutal attack from Pakistan he could not withstand it. So, the king hismself came forward and joined in Indian Union. After that we (India) deployed our troops over there.At the same time India has done one major blunder (may be the vested interest of the so called politicians) , they did not evacuate the Pakistanis from some part of Kashmir, so it is being called as POK. Unfortunately, Pak has given some this part to China too.So, in no way we can not accept the madness of Arundhati Roy.Wake up the goverment and arrest this lady immediately and keep her behind the bars until she realises the integrity of the nation.Jai HindFrom: muhammad kp <kpmuhammad@gmail.com>

ശ്രീനഗര്‍: കശ്മീരിലെ ലക്ഷകണക്കിന് ജനങ്ങള്‍ ദിവസവും പറയുന്നതും നിരവധി നിരീക്ഷകര്‍ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്ത കാര്യമാണ് താന്‍ പറഞ്ഞതെന്ന് എഴുത്തുകാരി അരുന്ധതി റോയി. കശ്മീര്‍ ഒരിക്കലും ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അവിഭാജ്യ ഘടകമായിരുന്നില്ലെന്ന അരുന്ധതിയുടെ പ്രസ്താവന വിവാദമായതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് അവര്‍ വിശദീകരണവുമായി രംഗത്തുവന്നത്.
കശ്മീര്‍ പരാമര്‍ശത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ അരുന്ധതിക്കെതിരെ നരാജ്യദ്രോഹ കുറ്റത്തിന് കേസെടുക്കുമെന്ന് ദേശീയ മാധ്യങ്ങളില്‍ വാര്‍ത്ത വന്നിരുന്നു.
താന്‍ നീതിക്കു വേണ്ടയാണ് ആഹ്വനം ചെയ്തതെന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രസംഗം വായിച്ചാല്‍ മനസ്സിലാകും. ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും ക്രൂരമായ സൈനിക അധിനിവേശമാണ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഭരണകൂടം കശ്മീരില്‍ നടത്തുന്നത്. അതിനു കീഴില്‍ കഴിയേണ്ടി വരുന്ന കശ്മീര്‍ ജനതക്ക് നീതി ലഭിക്കാനാണ് താന്‍ ശബ്ദം ഉയര്‍ത്തിയത്.
മാതൃരാജ്യത്തു നിന്ന് പുറംതളളപ്പെട്ട കശ്മീര്‍ പണ്ഡിതന്‍മാര്‍ക്കും കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ദളിത് സൈനികര്‍ക്കും ഈ അധിനിവേശത്തിന് വലിയ വില നല്‍കേണ്ടിവരുന്ന പാവപ്പെട്ട ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ക്കും വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഞാന്‍ സംസാരിച്ചത്. കശ്മീര്‍ പൊലീസ് രാജ്യമായി മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് അരുന്ധതി ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഞാന്‍ ഷോപിയാന്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചു. നിലോഫറും ആയിശയും ബലാല്‍സംഗത്തിനിരയായി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ആപ്പിള്‍ നഗരം. നിലോഫറിന്റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവുമായും ആയിശയുടെ സഹോദരനുമായും സംസാരിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ നിന്നും നീതി കിട്ടുമെന്ന് അവര്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല. അവര്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടത് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമാണ്.
താന്‍ ശത്രുത പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് ചിലര്‍ എഴുതി. ജനങ്ങള്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെടണമെന്നും ബലാല്‍സംഗം ചെയ്യപ്പെടണമെന്നും ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. മറിച്ച് അവരെ തടവിലാക്കി നഖം പിഴുത് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനാണെന്ന് പറയിപ്പിക്കരുതെന്നെ ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞുള്ളു. നീതി നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന സമൂഹമാണ് ഞാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. സത്യം പറയുന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരെ നിശബ്ദരാക്കുന്ന, നീതി ചോദിക്കുന്നവരെ ജയിലടക്കുന്ന, കൊള്ളക്കാരെയും ബലാല്‍സംഗക്കാരെയും, കൂട്ടക്കൊലക്കാരെയും സ്വതന്ത്രമായി വിഹരിക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കുന്ന ഒരു രാജ്യത്തോട് ഞാന്‍ സഹതപിക്കുന്നു.
