Hello there, I think I know what you are going thru'. I am a mother of a daughter of who is going to be eighteen soon. I had the same problem with my daughter when she was your child's age. If the doc's said u need not worry it is just the case. I remember trying to put her to sleep in the afternoon after meal by drawing all the curtains and making the room dark and at times out of desparation getting angry with her. Even now she is the last to go to bed and the first to wake up. When your child wakes up in the middle of the night and start playing do not give in. Keep the lights out and cox the child to sleep. I have played with the child with balls and other stuff in the hours that you mention. But when they know they get the attention they would want to do it again and again. But when they realize that no one is available for them to play with they will change this nature. And that is the only way. Some children ane hyperactive and if they suffer no other illness it just shows that they are active and healthy which should be a matter of joy not of concern.Even among adults we see that for some a few hours of sleep is sufficient for them to wake up rested while others may sleep longer hours and still wake up yawning and feeling lethargic. If the child is not crying or feeling restless at times due to lack of sleep you need not worry at all. Josephina --- On Fri, 29/10/10, Radhakrishnan Palakkal <rkkezhukkuttu@gmail.com> wrote:
