Let me tell you that widening the roads and high ways are the basic needs of development in the state and also for the country. if the Government has to make space by removing the buildings etc. then it has to be done but in a proper manner. The people has earned their bread by hard living and the compensation to those people,  the Government  should pay a price so that the mass accepts it. Here the Government wants space but at the cost decided by them. This is not acceptable.  For example, see the State of Gujarat, Bihar, Bhopal and Indore, all have widend roads and the devlopment of that state is beyond comparision. Kerala also should take intitative on this subject of widening the roads in proper manner so that the mass does not get hurt. The population has increased and so is the Vehicles on the road.  If a bus or a lorry moves in a road then nobody can overtake. If the bus stops on the road or even in the highway in Kearal roads, then all the vehicle behind should also stop because there is no space. See the number of Accidents, at is time that we understand the issue and do this at all cost and immediately.   This discussion amoung keralites is vital and all should join. We have seen a fly over been built in Palkkad very recently. Only one vehicle can pass this flyover.  What is happening in Government level, is the people are not that educated. Atleast when theyhave decided to built at least a broad fly over would have been built.  In the years to come the new genaration will break this fly over to make space for widened one. Most of the politicans and the Government employees are on the Tuklak administration.   Come on let us all open our eye on this subject and atleast the coming generation will welcome this.

Dear Friends, 

Developing the NH 47 & 17 on a 45 meter wide stretch is the hot topic of the day. Now the highways have a width of 30 meters. This is not a geometrically designed road and widening is meant to create unrest in the community. Thousands of buildings will be destroyed and many will be thrown to the streets. There is acute shortage of labour, and building materials. By the time the people rebuild what they lost then the time for the next widening will come. The masters will again start the destruction process.

That must be stopped.
