This mail is in circulation for a very long time. However, always nice to recall....
In fact, history goes thus. After the numbers 1-9 were frozen, mathematicians of the time got stuck.... They could not proceed any further.
And it took an Indian to discover the "0", when every thing fell into the right place.
(May be that's why, we Indians are better known as "Poojya" mahaasay....
)
