RE: [www.keralites.net] RE: 'NOKKU-KOOLI' - To be abolished by Law.

You are correct. The general public should unite for the betterment of the country.

As regards voting for a candidate or party, I have a point to mention here.

Suppose you vote for a candidate who is against a particular party. e.g. a person votes for a candidate supported by LDF because he is not a supporter of UDF. After winning the election, the candidate or his party will support the UDF or Congress. This is a nonsense and a type of cheating the voter. The candidate or his party should promise that after winning they will not support their opponents party at any cost.

Voting must be made compulosry with an option to the voter to select "none of the above" in the EVM.

Regards,
Kumar

Dear friends,I strongly believe that if we  unite together, we can bring our country as really 'Gods Own Country'.  I read somewhere that "all these things are happening not because of the  bad people but because of the silence of the good people".  So let us work together  and build a country with peace and harmony.  One more thing is that many people are not casting their valued votes while there is an election as they think that "why should I waste my vote for these corrupted politicians".  This mentality should be changed and each and every person should cast their votes then the right party will win the contest and there will be good ruling in our country.  I think there should be an awareness contest on this matter.
 best regards

Dear Friends,
I would like to inform you that this move to fight against one menace in the society is a great step. Next move should be against the Hartals & Bandh. Already there is a court verdict against Bandh; but the political parties conduct at pretext of Hartal.
If the supporters of a party, union or a cult express their protest by closing their shops or not operating their services is understandable. Why do they make it a forceful event, when a person has no concern with the incident. The organization which is calling for the Hartals should be penalised for the excesses happeing during that Hartal and all the losses caused to be compensated by that organization. For that a law should be initiated to have declaration & a caution deposit to this effect by the organization, which calls for the Hartals.
Friends, I feel collectively we can try to get rid off the atrocities in the society, one by one. Expressing my fullfledged support to this great cause,

Abdul Latheef.

A Great Act. If it succeeds nothing like that. It will be the greatest service of our High Court to save the people of this God's own country from Nokkukooly's country.
I am a victim of this malice. In a period of 23 years I have shifted my residence 11 times at Ernakulam and all those times I have paid more than double the amount paid as cooliege to my people as Nokkukoolie to these rascals of nokkukoolie. Everytime I was cursing those rascals. Shameless rascals with political patronage of CPM & CITU, they have been performing Nagna Thandava, the naked dance, in our state.

I wish you all success.

Dear friends, Our discussion on 'NOKKU-KOOLI' seems to have almost ceased. If no more people want to have their say about this matter, before rounding up, I wish to send the following letter to "hckerala@nic.in" (High Court of Kerala) with your permission. Please let me know your suggestions after your perusal of the same. Or, provided any better expertise, I'll drop my idea to follow that of yours with pleasure. So, please be free and frank to advise me in this regard.

To whosoever it may concern

We, the members of a social forum called www.keralites.net,would like draw your kind attention to the fact that in Kerala, as you are well-aware, we all suffer from an unjust social malevolence called "NOKKU-KOOLI" roughly translated as "the wage for just witnessing a particular work being done". Due to this exploitation we are often forced to drop a lot of good projects in both public and private sectors. Therefore, you are hereby requested to take legal measures to have this practice repealed by law voluntarily as an honorable service. Else, please advise us whether there is any other provision that we can proceed through in order to free our state by breaking this deadlock.

Some of the viewpoints of our members from all over the world are attached herewith for your kind reference that can give you an idea of the public feeling against this undue practice.

We thank you for your support in anticipation.

Yours Faithfully,
