Re: [www.keralites.net] Re: CHEATING OF HDFC BANK

Dear mr.Ravi,

I have a similar expereince with HDFC bank. Please help me on the procedure to file a complaint against the bank.

Please find the e-mail sent by me to the bank officials.

Dear Mr.John Mathew,

Please look inot the below e-mails the frustration form few people about the cheat ing activites of HDFC bank.
To this we can add to them the way you guys cheated us by saying that you will give us the loan.
  1. Firstly you came up with the idea of giving us a subsidy and hence to obtain that we started with the loan proceedings.
  2. Secondly you made us spend all our time and efforts in making the documents for your loan application process.
  3. You made us to travel throughout Kerala to meet your so called credit managers and state heads.
  4. We do not understand that what credit your credit manager has if he cannot pass a loan of 20 lacs. If he does not have the authority to do so then he should quit or should be replace by someone who can take decisions.
  5. We ran through the whole process expecting that you will sanction the loan today or tomorrow and you made us run like mad dogs behind you for the last two months and now your bank is looking for a deposit of 5 lacs in your bank and further collateral of more property for a mere 20 lacs. What should we call this act of yours cheating or something else.
  6. You had earlier mentioned that the collateral we provided to you was sufficient ( valued more than 30 lacs), but then as we had given it for rent your investigators got confused when they couldn't find us in the rented house. This is natural. Till two days before your credit manager said that they are looking for address proof and the collateral is not a means of security, if this is so then why is he asking for more collateral for the approval of this loan???
  7. Please note the project we are doing is the source of income for more than twenty families, because of your negligence and vested interests the income of these people are being delayed.

Please provide me with a response to our above queries as to understand the real reasons for the refusal of this loan.

Please note that we are expecting your response in two working days on the above and if not provided with a proper reason we may move this to your headquarters and will sort legal advise on the same.

Thanks & Regards,

As a matter of fact, I have a very bad experience with HDFC Credit card and still the dispute is going on. So I cannot say all their dealings are wrong. They are doing business not charity. Nationalized banks are economical but we know their service is not good. You think of justice.

FD slip is an agreement. You are asking them to change. It is their mercy and not your right. Such things does not require public support. You know one thing if you lend money at a very cheap rate to your friend with the understanding of returning it to you soon after he get money, and if he has another loan with a higher interest rate, when he gets money whom he will pay first? You or the other? Think!

Sorry if I hurt you.

If the period is longer the interest is more. Bank run in specific terms with RBI and they have to follow. If the matter is urgent, you could take a loan against the deposit. Which save you both from problem. I am not a banker and I am a lay man.
