THOUGHTS FOR THE NEW YEAR
A Great deal of happiness depends upon the kind words and
thoughtsheld in the heart for others.
An optimist is a person who has a smile in his heart because he
has the ability to see possible success in every probable failure.
As we grow better in our hearts, so we are able to see the
better qualities of others.
Being good to others is the best way to be good to yourself.
Create for yourself high ideals, then have the courage to
stick by them.
Every time you try to help the less fortunate, you rise to
newheights of character.
If you live a worthwhile life, it will not die at your death.
It is better to do small things well than to spend time in
dreaming of big things that are never tried.
No matter what the size of the task, complete it with the same determination that you would if life's success depended upon it.
Responsibilities naturally go to the shoulders that are capable of
carrying them, and success comes to the one who has learned how.
The greatest heroes are not the ones who have lived to die,
but those who have died to live.
Set a worthy goal, work towards it, and accomplish it. Then set a higher one. So character is moulded and the rise and fall of nation depends upon the characters of the individuals who compose them.
