വീരപ്പന്‍' കിഷോര്‍
കാടും നാടും ഒരുപോലെ വിറപ്പിച്ച വീരപ്പന്റെ കഥ ചലച്ചിത്രമാകുന്നു. കന്നടയിലും തമിഴിലും ഒരേ പോലെ തിളങ്ങുന്ന കിഷോറാണ് വീരപ്പനാകുന്നത്. വെണ്ണിലാ കബഡി കൂട്ടം, ആടുകളം എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധേയനായ നടനാണ് കിഷോര്‍. ഒറിജിനല്‍ വീരപ്പനെ കടത്തി വെട്ടുന്ന വിധത്തിലുള്ള ലുക്കിലാണ് കിഷോറെത്തുന്നത്.
കന്നട സംവിധായകനായ എ.എം.ആര്‍. രമേഷ് ഒരുക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് 'അട്ടഹാസം' എന്നാണ് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. തമിഴില്‍ 'വനയുത്തം' എന്ന പേരിലാണ് ചിത്രമൊരുങ്ങുന്നത്. ഒരേസമയം കന്നടയിലും തമിഴിലുമാണ് സിനിമയുടെ ചിത്രീകരണം. വീരപ്പന്റെ പ്രത്യേക ദൗത്യസേനയുടെ തലവന്‍ വിജയകുമാറായി ആക്ഷന്‍ ഹീറോ അര്‍ജുന്‍ എത്തും. രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി വധക്കേസ് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ച കുപ്പി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ സംവിധായകനാണ് രമേഷ്.
