Inspite of 60+ years of Indian Independence, we are known by our religion, caste, color, state etc.
Subramania Bharathi sang of Mother Bharat at the dawn of the independence movement: "She has thirty crores of faces, but her heart is one; she speaks eighteen languages, yet her mind is one";
Lack of "investigative journalism" on both sides. Dear friends, its the Tamilnadu farmers and poorest of poor kerala consumers who suffer not our politicians or rich consumers. Farmers do take loan from bank and money lenders to buy seeds, fertilizers etc. with a ready market which is near to them and get lucrative profits for their labor. Last month, during one day hartal in Ottamchatram, (as per SUN TV programme) the farmers federation president opined that they lost Rs 3 crores on that day because they could not transport vegetables to Kerala. Can you all imagine what happens to their produce...rot in their field or send to the nearest market...where supply exceeds demand...and be satisfied with a pittance. Vegetables and other commodities are arriving in tons from Karnataka and other states. Keralites should start to be self-reliant. As long as Kerala is flooded with Petro dollars, the TN farmers will have lucrative business. The Tamilnadu CM should reveal the names of Kerala politicians who were gifted acres and acres of land in Theni and other parts in TN. Regarding attacks on Sabarimala piligrims, why did not any Tamil electronic media conduct a road survey at any TN-Kerala check post to find out the truth (fringe elements are there on both sides of the fence). Tamil media (60% is in the hands of politicians). Let politicians on both sides stop indulging in brickbats, let the engineers, environmentalists, seismologist, social activists etc interact and find our "ALTERNATE" solution whereby the lives of Keralites and agriculture of Tamilian are safeguarded.
Let the moderate voices in both states come to the fore.

Dear Mr, Rao, Looking ur name it seems u r from Andhra. I have read ur mail and i was really feel so bad on the contents. Y you are using this types of cheap unparliamentary words on keralites. What, kerala is not in India or u r not from india? We are indians. Think and act like an Indian. Pls dont see keralites as a pakistani or chinese. We are your brothers and sisters not ur enemies. Ok, if there is nothing in MP dam it is well and good. Our brothers in kerala and TN can live with out harm. If there is any thing happen peoples from these states will have to suffer. So the near by people at MP dam is in a fear that something will happen. The comments and mails posting here due to that fear and nothing to be angry with we keralites (Indians). Then one thing someone are posting that TN will not supply veg. and other daily needs to kerala. These can arrange these from other areas. That second thing. But the main thing is who is not supplying basic needs to whom. In a family bothers and sisters will not take their siblings?? Definitely yes they will take care. Same thing here also the email senders have to think. We are not two, we are one. Our national integration is the best ever in the world. Ok any way this mail i have written for unity not to hurt anybody. Sit think and act together for a good future INDIA..
