If you are not satisfied by the Govt. Guide Line Value i.e 24 Lakhs. You can apply for the registration by rule # 47 A (This we did in TN, You can confirm this rule for Kerala). As per this a site visit will be done by a senior officer from Govt. and he will fix the rate.

One of my intimate friend brought a land in Kerala with the rate of 14 lakh (Original amount to pay the owner)
Now, during registration, as per the new rule of Kerala Government states that, he need to pay the tax amount of 24 lakhs instead of 14 lakhs, because as per the Government record the tariff value of that
land is 24 lakhs.

Now, he need to pay around 1 lakh ruppees extra tax to the Government for Land registration.
Is there any body experienced the same problem in this group?

Any idea, what to do?
