Dr M Leelavathi gets Ezhuthachan Puraskaram

Kochi: Well known Malayalam literary critic Prof M Leelavathy, has been selected for this year's Ezhuthachan Puraskaram, state government's highest literary award.
State Education minister, M A Baby announced the award here yesterday.
An award committee comprising of poet and Jananapeeth award winner, O N V Kurup, Kerala Sahitiya Akademy president, P Valsala, poetess Sugathakumari and writer M N Karassery selected Leelavathy for her substantial contribution to the genre of literary criticism in Malayalam.
The award would be presented by chief minister, V S Achutanandan in the first week of december at a function in Thiruvananthapuram.PTI
