Parts of a concrete wall are placed on the ground in the Jewish neighborhood of Gilo in Jerusalem, Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010. Israel removed Sunday a concrete wall placed in 2001 in Gilo in order to protect Israelis against gunfire from the nearby Palestinian village of Beit Jala. The military said the removal was due to a reduced security threat and increased coordination with the Palestinian security forces.
