Mr.Rajeevan, I Pity on you. Like you people are the curse of the state. Fools are living in paradise. Have you ever heard to ask a 'kooli' for not doing work? The so called 'automation' is the only phenomenon of Kerala ? Do yout think this 'automation' is very large in Kerala compared to other states ? Do you believe a man can handle what the machine handling ? There is no "internationally established fact" that one who ask the money without doing anything. But it is the persons choice to use any person for his loading or unloading purpose. Just the support of a union (goondas), labours asking some unrealistic money is not at all acceptable. It is only happening in Kerala. Like you people are supporting, it will continue. At the time of introducing Computers, tractors, these people (your forefathers) have raised hue and cry. But now Computer is the main income to our state. We always 20-30 years back
I am in Delhi since 1990 and keep coming to Kerala 2-3 times per year. Yes, Kerala is No. 1 to live that does not mean all are happy with these bull shit 'nokkukooli, attimari, harthal, etc. People are forced to pay for the muscle power especially for the CITU union. You know in Delhi, people from Kerala working here with a mere salary of Rs.2500/- per month ? The category of these people are hardware engineer to Staff nurse etc . But in Kerala, a bihari labour earning min 10,000 + depends upon his capacity. The Kerala's income is not generating from Kerala. These moneys are coming from abroad like Gulf countries, USA, Canada, UK etc and from various states of India by those who working outside Kerala. Being a Keralite, Iam proud to call as malayalee but the present state is not at all proud for any Keralite.
Another funny thing you quoted murders in Mumbai. Hello Mr, what you think in Kerala all is well ? You know, ours state Jokers are ruling, without any vision which lead it in a pathetic condition. During the last 10 years I can see in Delhi more than 80 flyovers, dozens of express way (Delhi is not that much of large area than Kollam district !) come in existence. If Iam correct, in Kerala not a single flyover properly finished during the last 2 govt (I am quoting Pallayam fly over).
so, wake up man. There is a quote, 'you can fool some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time'.

In Kerala the prevailing daylight robbery of nookkucooli, attiamari cooli etc are being justified by some people, otherwise this practice would not have been condoned for so long.
Why is it that the other states of India do not follow this exapmle, one wonders? Look at Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.......
What if the doctors in one place starts charging compensation from patients in their locality for seeking treatment from another doctor in another locality?
May be the cabdriver/auotriksha driver who charge half as much than the law abiding drivers should be punished? Or should the law abiding auto/cab driver should be punished?
What should be done with the village officer/police officer/RTO people etc etc who demand bribe (compensation) and collect it in various ways? May be they are getting legitimate compensation?
Look at Malayalees who are seeking luck through lotteries--they want easy money WITHOUT WORKING. These nookkucoolies and attimari coolies all want to make money without working. They want to collect money ILLEGALLY from people who work day in and day out. And for sure there "chetties who cheat the pottans will be cheated by God",
When this is happening where are the police? They too are collecting compensation, exactly like the politicians who collect compensation for being elected as the representatives of the people.
May God's Own Country flourish and prosper with nookkucooli, attimari cooli and Beverage money AND the money shed by these coolical when God give them compensation in the form of cirrhosis, accidents and floods and calamities.

What is' nokkukuli'?Everybody who works knows that when they loose their jobthe company they work compensates.Compensation is given by the owner of the company.Owner make up the loss from his products.This is an internationally established fact.Like this many companies introduced automation and many head load workers lost their job.Also various factors are there head load workers lost their earnings.Since headload workers are not treated as regular employees they are not paid any compensation.'Nokkukuli' is a very very small .1%compensation for the work lost.'Nokkukuli' is charged from those owners whose work has been considerably reduced by automation and other factors.Kerala has a much efficient police and complaints can be registered if any individual is unnecessarly harassed for this.
I pity for the gentleman who shifted to Mumbai fearing head load workers of Kerala.Is he aware of the life in Mumbai?There are more than 2500deaths in local trains and many murders in a year.A malayali living for generations is not treated a Mumbaikar and treated asan outsider.Business even a small beedi shop can not be run with out paying extortion.
Kerala is the best place to live.It is the no1 state in India.Best in education,health care, highest per capita income[Rs 63000/with out taking gulf remittance] and well maintained law and order.Those people who lived outside Kerala knows about thisand envy the people of Kerala
