Yet i couldn't see any reason why people keep watching and shooting SMS for such kind of commercial portals. Keralites always discuss this kind of issues once the event come down to a conclusion and by the time everything would have over.
- I am not a viewer of Asianet; i used to watch Hindi and English channels only; but got the chance to see Asianet Re-telecast of star singer a time. I am quite astonished to be noticed that the first runner-up is 500000 votes SMS far from the winner.
- I am stumped out when i saw 1st price of 1 crore and 5th price of 1 Lakh rupees. He could have earn minimum 10 Lakh Rupees if working in an organisation for an year.
Please don't blame Chitra, Sreekumar and sharath. they are proven artists and an asset to Malayalees considering national/state level performance. What they can do? Just like we working in an organisation under the guidance of a manager or CEO. They are doing their duty and getting paid of it. They can't have injustice among the participants and further winner being opted by SMS only (As Asianet says)
So ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for the next season? 
Go with Channels like History, Discovery and news channels. You gonna get worth a lot to discuss and learn.

What a shame. Personalities like Smt Chitra, Mr M.G.Sreekumar and Sharath becoming a party to such Gross Injustice. They all have fallen in my esteem and I have taken a vow NOT(NOT) to view Idea Star Singer. It is not the financial position or religion or any thing else that should matter. Performance and Performance alone should. I am afraid I cant agree with the decision to select Joby as the Idea Star Singer of Season 4. He sings well indeed, but Sreenath and Vidya Shankar sang even better. Vidya in particular was outstanding in all the rounds. This type of discrimination will surely discourage the talented. While on the subject, Cant we find a better Compere than Ranjini Haridas? She has become a pain. Tolerating her for all the seasons gone by itself is a punishment. One other reason for me to stop viewing Star Singer is this. Bring in some one fresh Who is not as loud.

| Dear friends, PL ASK YOUR CONSCIOUS MIND on the results of the finals of Season 4--Idea star singer held on 1/8/2010 First of all pl note that neither I am against any individual participant nor they are of any relation to me --not even knew their addresses I would like to state that even after watching more than a year on the Asia net channel the Idea star singer (Season 4) results have given a big shock to us. 1)---How the winner is selected(or elected) What are the crieteria of finalising the winner 2)--Is the trump card SMS --the main crieteria ,If so better to change the name of the event to " Idea Star SMS" 3)After giving good performances through out,the deserving candidates are not selected ------Giving example of the finals(leave aside earlier slips)--- 3)Elimination of Vidya Sankar at the first instant is very painful ,since he perfomed much much better than Mr. joby who should have eleminated first. (Again I repeat I have no personal enimity with the winner or any spl attraction to Vidya) 4)Again Mr Joby was not at all a match to Sreenath in this event in any of the departments of the competetion It is indeed a shock when the final result announced-Sreenath should have the automatic choice as the winner --Is only the SMS the crieteria--where joby got more than 5 lacks compared to others less than a lack --If so ,the total interest on this type of event will loose its charm and for knowledgable music loving public, it will be a great disappointment. --We are pity on stalwarts like great- MG Sreekumar,Chithra,Sharat -- after strugling so much for more than one year ,finally they broke the pot (immage )by the result--much to the disappointment of music loving people -Is this called a proffesionalism?- ASIANET--management to wake up please---' Idea' is intersted in moneyat the same time talented pleople should get their credit also This is the opinion of a groupe of people who regularly watch this event Regds Geetha |  |
