[www.keralites.net] Unity is strength

Dear Friends,

Knowing that 'Keralites.net' and 'World Malayali Club' are like twins nurtured by almost the same loving people (I, for one, have a membership in both), I request my World mlayali club members who do not visit Keralites, if there is any, to join us hand-in-hand in our campaign meant to promote a sustained awareness against the much talked about labour culture of snatching money unethically from the common for a work done by somebody else or by machinery, known as "NOKKU-KOOLI" practiced by the union members representing all political parties such as CITU, AITUC, BMS, INTUC and some other small fractions of this rude family.

For the last couple of months I have been sending mails to all directions under a pressed situation not knowing whom to address or where to focus, with a Government without sense of direction, what else one can do??? But, we will not fade our enthusiasm till we achieve our goal set beyond our Party Favoritism. I would like to emphasis on our necessity of having to take a pledge not to give up our e-based battle of nonviolence against this ill-fate of our State.

My humble suggestion is to spread the message to a wider spectrum by e-mail, by word of mouth or rather, by all possible means, according to the creativity of each member; not necessarily adapting the conventional ways, for instance: we can write to the people in power, like CM, other Ministers, MLA's MP's, Notables, Authors and so on; we shall forward this mail or you can draft a better one to this effect and keep on sending to people from all walks of life in both Malayalam and English languages; whenever you've an opportunity to address any audience, see that this message is somehow conveyed to your audience; in our social gatherings, even in family get-togethers we can discuss this matter; at least, once in a day we should write or speak something against this system to somebody so that we can maintain a public feeling against this system floating in Kerala atmosphere thereby we can keep this flame of spirit alive unless and until the government legislates a law (not a mere rule) usually done, as far as I know, by a voting process to put an end to this curse. If it not solved at state-level, we can try at national level. If you ask me (please don't ask such cruel questions) in case our words aren't heard at national level too, then what?? Then, across the sea shall we go to America and fall prostrate at the feet boots of Obama Chettan. Certainly his words are much louder than that of us and will surely be answered.

Let me make my stand clear as always people for and against can be expected anywhere. I swear that I don't have any political agenda hidden behind this effort. Nevertheless I hate the political culture in our country, I'm not against any particular party nor am against any individual (excluding criminals), but I differ some policies that are harmful to the society.

There is nothing wrong in dreaming a better Kerala through e-revolution without shedding blood!!!!!

With Love,
Gafooooooooo………………….r
