a few years go one skin specialist prescribed 'neo meladinine' tablet to one of my relatives and he was cured.
another patient, a sudani gentleman was also cured by the same medicine prescribed by an Indian doctor.
you may suggest this to your doctor and take treatment according to his advice

My name is Reshmi, and am 23yrs old. My home town is kollam and am suffering from vitiligo for last 15 yrs, I have experimented ayurvedam, homeo, and allopathy...

Sometimes it will be cured to some extend and after a while the patches will reappear.

I have a small advise that your grandchild have small patches, which is not seen to others or the patch color remains constant for a longtime, its better not to take any treatement because after the treatment skin will lose its balance and patches will appear and dissappear rigourously. There is an oilment name Tacroz its an effective oilment (apply it twice a day) will be an effective treatment, but it will take time (6 months) to change the colour. please try this before taking any difficult treatments because all medicines have side effects, and almost all Drs. prescribe steroids which is an effective medicine for this disease but it will cause diabetics as early, so please just try Tacroz oilment.
