[www.keralites.net] NOKIA phone warranty -reg

Dear All, My cousin gave me a new Nokia 2690 on his arrival from SaudiArabia.The Phone went out of order after two days of use.The phone cannot be switched on and is not getting charged too.I have approached the  Nokia service centre here who said that the warranty is not valid in India.What shall I do to get the phone repaired or replaced here in india? regards BabuG
