Thorsten Schmidtkord's "Head on Top" series reminds me of a real-life Mr Potato Head. The German artist switches up the facial features of his subjects - the top of their heads are found at the bottom, while the eyes and noses are left where you'd expect them to be. The mouths, however, are nowhere to be found. The images provoke quite a reaction - It's hard to decide whether to smile or cringe...
