Re: [www.keralites.net] ഇത് അത്യാവശ്യമായിരുന്നു.......????

mr.ngk,mr.harikumar&ms.sandhya,
you people seem to be frustrated towards the people those who took leave and working abroad.main reason why don't they resign and go.
those who wrote psc exams, attended interview and got selected knows the herculian proceedures and pain to get a govt.job.most of the said
"dual employment persons" are in the gulf countries, not in europe or america.
they are fighting with more than 50 nationalities to survive there.
in india when you get a job either in govt.or in private sector you got a licence to strike and do all the hell you like.
in the gulf there is a renewable job contract and work permit.
when you complete your one year or two year contract the renewal depends on so many factors.
1.your performance,2.the scope of work the company hold and 3.your luck.
their job is never guaranteed for the next day.
don't think you are in kerala, got a job, future is safe.
so as a guarantee they have to keep their govt.job.it is not a crime against humanity as you feel.
this as per KERALA SERVICE RULES.instead of insulting these dual employees, you fight with the govt.to stop this.
you people never experienced the horror of iran iraq war, gulf war or ecconomic crisis of 1986 or 2008.
tens of thousand of keralites suffered huge financial losses and miseries.those people who were on long leave from govt.service
(may be numbering less than 500) survived the catastrophy of a dark future.
so my advise to people on long leave, never take a chance loosing your permanent job.
please read in a  +ve way
warm regards
nair

Mr. NGK,

I had been debating on this issue with all its good spirit, all these days.
I had been an unemployed youth,
an employee in three different govt organisations,
and now working abroad.

It is a surprise to read your lines, that you are  frustrated too fast, against the govt of kerala.
What did you actually expect?
The order will be passed by the govt to execute all the employees within a couple of days?
Why is your blood so cold, not to react on the fact, that the Pakistani Kasab who had killed hundreds on innocents in Mumbai, is not executed even years after the incident?

And I dont think that the whole kerala community had selected you as a moderator to declare that the points raised by Mr.Hari and Ms.Sandhya are the olnly facts.

It is quite usual to have different opinions on social issues and I consider the points raised by everyone in that angle. Who am I to say that all these NGK, Harikumar or Sandhya should be hanged, just because they had a difference of opinion? I have some psychiatric problems, if I said that, and rather I should not be that much inhumane too otherwise.

We had kings ruling this country before this red tape system started, and our ancestors did not like the way they handled the situations. That is the reason why we have this democracy and red tape system and all.

And you expect us to go back to that old era when everything was decided by sword, in faction of time?

Hi there,

The responses by Ms Sandhya and Mr Harikumar are very well appreciated.

They have answered  frankly and  "to the point".

But the fact remains that "the history gets repeated".

One more court order to the red tapes..thats all.

In this era of "red tapism" and nasty world of "politics", nothing can be

expected ... no creative, concrete action can be expected from the Kerala state governemnt. It is more than 100% evident that this court order will not be

implemented at all.

So, just like the "dual citizenship", let these "foriegn employed kerala government employees also" be happy with a "dual employment".

Let us dance to the tune "the grapes are not sour, but not for us"......but for the foxes

who are with "dual employments"...Even if we go on arguing for days together, things

will never become better in this state,  as it is "kaliyugam" and justlike the old  timers

say "sambhavaami yugey yugey"

regards to all.

Ms Sandhya is 100% correct. Why ru taking leave and going abroad. If you have good opportunity abroad you resign from your job and go... by taking long leave for working abroad, you are securing ur job at homeland and making sure that ur not left unemployed when ur laid off from your job abroad. is n't it. think about others who have n't got even one job. what u mean by grape is not ripe.

Topping PSC exams are more or less depends on your luck, there is nothing to be so proud of. u thank ur GOD and luck. Can you assess a person's ability within two hours inside an exam hall. Further a carpenter may be getting Rs. 550/- day (I don't in which part of Kerala carpenters are getting such an amount). Can you assure him job every day. Moreover a carpenter needs skill and physique. Do Govt. employees need it. Most of the selected employees are corrupt too. In which Govt. office you can get your job done without paying bribe. There may be few exemptions. The salary paid to these Govt. employees by the Govt. is from the tax paid by each and every citizen. Why only certain aloof group enjoy those... The reply is not meant to hurt any bodies feelings.

2010/11/16 Saheer <aasaheer@yahoo.com>

I dont understand the reason why people are again and again saying that those who are on leave are enjoying the benefit of pension and salary. Is it because of the high literacy of malayalee in english, which I am able to read through the lines of Sandya.

All are angry and are just speaking same thing, as if it is taught and ordered by some one to speak out.

Can any one reply specific to my arguements?

that a person on leave is not eligible for anything from the govt, for the period of leave,

that a vacancy is generated when an individual is granded with leave,

that a person recruited by the PSC had topped in the exam, than the other foxes who say that the grape is not ripe.

All are happy to read and talk aloud about the 12000 figure. In my village, the daily wage of an ordinary carpenter is Rs.550 and food.

If any one can show me that your arguements are true, I am ready to put up my resignation and am ready to publish that letter through this group. And if your arguements are not true, what do you think of the insults which the pravasees are put in, during all these days, even
to be called as beggars.

Dear Geekay,

i full agree with ur views. If Mr.saheer feels he is getting a paltry salary of 'Rs.12000/ and cant live like a begger he should quit his job and work abrad..who is stopping him..Why does he want to take leave and go their and have the benifit of getting pension for the days he has worked or coming back and join his job.I guess he is confident of getting a good job abroad and that is why he took leave..if people have the guts and confidence of geting a job abroad, they shud quit their job here and go abroad..They shud not have job here and try one abroad..They are blocking the prospects and chance of lakhs of unemployed who are ready to work for any salary...Beggars cant be choosers!!!!!! Got it Mr.saheer!!!!!!!

regards
Sandya

Dear Saheer,

your views are very well appreciated.

But the fact remains that, "such people" when they may not be getting the "pension benefit" during their absence, there is always the guarantee that , they are assured of a job and the pension on retirement, at the cost of blocking some other poor soul's chance for a government job. dont you agree ?

I am not against anything...either this way or that way..but when I saw your comments, could not resist the temptation of putting across my feelings.

gud day to all.

It is a wrong message which is being spread about the leave entitlement of state govt employees that they are eligible for pension for their period of emplyment abroad. Those who are on such leave are as good as they are not in service, That period is not counted when calculating pension. Govt need to pay not a single paisa to those individuals in the form of any kind of pay and allowances, for the leave period. There is also an instruction that the public service commision can take that as a generated vacancy and recruite a new employee. Why are all the people in kerala are much worried on there, including the law machinery?!!

I am working as a First grade overseer in kerala PWD in my age of 43 and does any one think that I and my family can survive with the 12000 rupees of pay? I do not want to be corrupt and dont want to go after bribe, and for that reason I am here abroad. What do the people want, come back and live there like a begger having no guts to demand bribe?
