dear friends MANY WHO CAST THEIR COMMENTS ON THIS ISSUE DO NOT CONSIDER MUCH THAT THOSE WHO WORK ABROAD ARE LIABLE TO GET THE PENSION PROPORTIONATE TO THEIR TENURE ONLY. AND WHEN THEY ARE ON LEAVE FROM KERALA THE NEXT PERSON FROM THE SELECTION LIST IS APPOINTED
INSTEAD. HENCE, THE EMPLOYEES ABSENCE IS NOT IN A WAY AFFECTED THERE AND HE IS NOT ENJOYING ANY UNDUE BENEFITS ALSO. ON CERTAIN SECTORS WHERE THE SPECIALISED EMPLOYEES ARE NOT AVAILABLE THE LEAVE CAN BE REJECTED. BUT THAT SITUATION IS NOT THERE IN 99% REMAINING SECTORS. WE SHOULD REMEMBER THAT IF ALL SUCH PEOPLE ARE MADE TO COME BACK, IT WILL BE A DEAD BLOW ON THE ECONOMY OF THE STATE AND ALSO WILL AFFECT LARGE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES WHO GOT APPOINTMENT THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, PART TIME, TEMPORARY ETC. AND THOSE WHO LOSE EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE OF THIS WILL NOT IN A WAY FIT FOR THE POST WHERE THE OTHERS ARE WORKING AT PRESENT ABROAD. I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD COME FORWARD TO GO FOR THE HIGHER COURTS SO THAT THE PRESENT DEADLOCK MAY BE WAVED. SHAJAHAN

my dear you know in only kerala govt staffs they are highly paid salary and less working time compared to other states....Whether you will allow to start any business firms in kerala.. who will invest ?? in yearly lot of strikes and harthals only will happening in kerala.. you were talking about carpentares , wood workers kerala peoples they are going to abroad for making money,, and biharis and tamilites they are coming to kerala for making money for them kerala is a small gulf..

You got chance to come to overseas and you will be getting leave salary and gratuity when you are leaving from that country or orgnisation. It is a wrong message which is being spread about the leave entitlement of state govt employees that they are eligible for pension for their period of emplyment abroad. Those who are on such leave are as good as they are not in service, That period is not counted when calculating pension. Govt need to pay not a single paisa to those individuals in the form of any kind of pay and allowances, for the leave period. There is also an instruction that the public service commision can take that as a generated vacancy and recruite a new employee. Why are all the people in kerala are much worried on there, including the law machinery?!!! I am working as a First grade overseer in kerala PWD in my age of 43 and does any one think that I and my family can survive with the 12000 rupees of pay? I do not want to be corrupt and dont want to go after bribe, and for that reason I am here abroad. What do the people want, come back and live there like a begger having no guts to demand bribe?
