Re: [www.keralites.net] a word in english

Dear Mr. Valsan,
Encarta Dictionary recognizes the word "prepone / pre-pone"  as follows:

1.       Transitive verb   to arrange for an event to take place earlier than originally planned.

2.       To reschedule something  for an earlier time or date.

pre·pone [ pri: 'pəun ]

(past and past participle pre·poned, present participle pre·pon·ing, 3rd person present singular pre·pones)

How will you say when you want something to be done earlier than the date you have already decided

For example if you have booked a ticket for 10th of november and you want to change it for 1st of November
( .....There is no word called prepone in English Dictionary)

best regards
vals
