Dear Readers, I agree with the comments below. The reason is that the judges criticize the performance of the artists without mercy forgetting the fact that they were in their position not too long ago. The judges should first show some words of encouragement to each candidate for having taken the trouble to come all the way after practising several times before the mirror etc. and whatever criticism they have should be communicated with them in a very positive manner. That will boost their morale and encourage them to participate in several programs in the future. They should realise that millions of Malayalees/Indians are watching the program and to make them shy in front of them will lead them to mental depression and other disorders for which the judges and the sponsors are really responsible. Another thing about prizes. Instead of giving them Bungalows worth 35 lakhs etc. which makes them pay for the transfer of property tax etc. which are exorbitant in India, many winners find it difficult to raise the money for the taxes. Instead of giving houses which of course is another way of advertising their projects, they should give prizes in cash. That is the first prize can be 10 lakhs, 2nd Prize 5 lakhs, 3rd prize 2.5 lakhs and the fourth and last prize say l lakh of Rupees. This will be useful for them and their family especially in the current state of affairs in India. This is my suggestion to improve the music and dancing talents of our new generation. Dear All, Reality shows have its own positives and negatives. But in some Comedy Shows (we have to watch it very calmly) the survival of Judges is problematic. We are enjoying not because of the comedy but the way of the judges are supporting the foolish acts of these artists, otherwise judges must go to the classes................. Can we make our society to open eyes and react to this stupid acts ? See the stories from reality shows??? Are we really need this to happen? Music and Dance are divine arts.. For selling it, we need to brand our Kids?? We heard a lot about "STAR SINGER OR DANCER" Winners!!! Have anyone ever thought of Losers or eliminated contestants, where they are going? What is happening to their confidence and further involvement in their talents? Read the stories down quoted from Newspapers-: Over the years as reality shows grew in popularity, many incidents of these programmes leading to suicides also surfaced. Jhansi, Nov 12: Unable to bear the humiliation meted out to him on the reality TV show 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf', hosted by Rakhi Sawant, a 25-year-old has committed suicide. According to the family of the deceased, Laxman went into a state of depression after participating in the reality show. The youngster, who was humiliated and called names by the anchor in the programme aired on Oct 23, reportedly stopped eating due to the mental turmoil he was undergoing, subsequently leading to his death. The family is yet to file a police case, but is planning on taking legal action. The distressing phenomenon is not limited only to the Indian sub-continent. As recent as Nov 8, reports of a one-time contestant on 'The Bachelorette' reality TV show committing suicide off a highway in Southern California, US, emerged. In his suicide note to his parents, he explained that he was suffering from depression and felt suicide was the only way out. Please Comment with your opinion. I feel reality shows really inspires our youth to continue their arts passion. But isn't negative comments reducing confidence? And to build an appearance what all "dress up" a child/teenage need to manage?? Winners
go happy.. Losers
.?? ?Where they go? What's happening to them?? Regards |
