Mayur Vyas is the Hindi voice of Rajnikanth. The voice-over artist synced dialogue for the Hindi version of Endhiran, Robot. The business management lecturer at Usha Pravin Gandhi School of Management, is absolutely thrilled to be "Rajni sir's hindi avatar," says Vyas. "This is the second Rajni movie I'm dubbing for. The first one was Sivaji- The Boss. You can call me the Hindi voice of Rajnikanth," says a beaming Vyas.
Swanand Kirkire, associate director, dubbing for Robot, who also gave the hindi dialogues for Robot vouches for Vyas' talent. "It was quite a task to sync dialogue to action in Robot. Vyas just did a fabulous job. The accent and diction was just like Rajnikanth would talk," Kirkire says.
Though he hasn't met Rajnikanth yet, Vyas would like to and deliver a dialogue or two to the man whose screen avatar has made him famous as a voice-over artiste. "People recognise me as Rajni's voice. It's really a wonderful feeling," says Vyas, whose other voices have also included dubbing for Robert Downing Jr in Hindi for Sherlock Holmes.
