Assalamu aliakkum ( for those who dont know the meaning of it - Peace be upon you all).

 

I truly understand your point - when you quote that it is written in the Quran that music is forbidden, but so is TV and many other sources of entertainment. Why do you watch it if it is haram? I dont understand this. When you are trying to rectify the islamic values to all, please also try to change the mind of people like Mr. Shanu Shanavas , who has sent photos of Dhoni with his newly wedded wife, pictures of their private time. Certainly when such mails are sent, no one looks at Dhoni, all eyes go to the wife. Not only that, try to make it a habit to respect not only muslim women but also women of other religion. When you write something quoted from the holy Quran, please make sure that you write this to only your muslim brethen, not all public, because it looks like you are trying to impose a rule on everybody.

Please dont blame a religion on this, Every Religion or religious text has written something or other against women. Whether it is christianity or Hinduism. Why no one saying about that. Hassan has expressed his views on music and women's exposure. If you have to blame, blame only his thinking mentality and not a religion. Please dont sow seeds to a religious conflict. We have enough problems outside in the real world, please dont lay the foundation for something new in the virtual world too.

I really can't get the content what you are going to express here....God  prohibited music or the evil feelings of it???..or unwanted words usage..???

From the Holy Book -------What is mustahabb (recommended) is to beat on the daff [simple hand drum] at weddings. This is mustahabb for women only, in order to announce the wedding and to distinguish it from fornication. There is nothing wrong with women singing amongst themselves, accompanied by the daff, so long as the songs contain no words that encourage evil or distract people from their duties. It is also a condition that this should take place among women only, and there should be no mixing with men. It should also not cause any annoyance or disturbance to neighbours. What some people do, of amplifying such singing with loudspeakers is evil, because of the disturbance it causes to other Muslims, neighbours and others. It is not permissible for women, in weddings or on other occasions, to use any instrument other than the daff, such as the oud, violin, rebab (stringed instrument) and so on. This is evil, and the only concession that women are given is that they may use the daff.

As for men, it is not permissible for them to play any kind of musical instrument, whether at weddings or on any other occasion. What Allaah has prescribed for men is training in the use of instruments of war, such as target practice or learning to ride horses and competing in that, using spears, shields, tanks, airplanes and other things such as cannons, machine guns, bombs and anything else that may help jihaad for the sake of Allaah."

This might be the only reason for this.

Exposing is not good for any girls..not only for Islam religion..

But Music--which soothes even a dying hear is divine Hassan...

When prophet said something "HARRAM"..there might be a reason behind it related to that century.

Dont blindly go and oppose something with "book paste" facts.

Holy Book is right.. Divine at the same time...but  the facts you quote should be thought logical too..
