Dog gives birth to mutant creature that resembles human being A dog gave birth to a strange creature that appeared along with several other normal puppies.  In the meantime, British regulators said Thursday that they had approved two proposals for research using hybrid human-animal embryos.  The Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority said it had approved, subject to conditions, applications from Kings College London and Newcastle University.  "The HFEA License Committee determined that the two applications satisfied all the requirements of the law," the agency said.
