Dear Mr. John
You are right that Maj. UK was not died for Govt. compensation, But the same time we have to
understand that Rs.3 Lakhs is very small amount that
Govt. given to his family. Offcourse any amount can't equal his life.
Even our state Govt. given Rs. 5 Laks for this Alcoholic death.
Atleast we have to give more respect to his family, Becuse he was died for our Nation..
So that amount is not enough at all for his family.
Mr.Giridhar shows a big mistake of our Govt. We have to support him.
And also we have to bring attention for this mistake to the Govt.
Thanks
Shahul

| This mail seems to be very funny as far as its contents is concerned. Do you think that Maj. Unnikrishnan or people like him died for government compensation? Or is the amount paid by the government is equivalent to the price of their lost lives? This is a very wrong idea. The government compensation is only a means to express their respect, for that it is not necessary to pay Crores in cash. Their lives are priceless and no government can compensate that. So comparing that with the compensation paid to drunkards is all together a wrong idea and a ultimate form of insult. But as a usual Malayalee, you want to continue complaining, you can continue with a few more hate emails. But hate harms none but you! --- On Thu, 9/16/10, giridhar moorkoth <giridhar_contact@yahoo.co.in> wrote:
