Normally you can't use your copy of Windows 7/Vista operating system if you don't activate it within 30 days of installation. But with a bit of tweaking you can increase that time limit to 120 days, even better Srikanth has a cool trick that increases the limit to one year. Follow the instructions below and learn how to do it.
# Extend the limit to 120 days
• Click on Start Menu->All Programs-> Accessories and then right click on Command Prompt and set it to "Run as Administrator."
• Type-in the command line : slmgr –rearm and you'll be prompted to restart the PC.
• Once you restart the PC the trial period limit will reset to 30 days and you can do this up to 3 times thereby giving you 120 days of unrestricted Windows 7.
# Extend the limit to 360 days
• Go to Start->Run and type-in regedit to open the registry editor, and then navigate to the location : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionSoftwareProtectionPlatform.
• Now, look for the SkipRearm in the right hand pane and change the value to 1.
• After performing this tweak you can use the slmgr-rearm command in Command prompt 8 times more.
• That means you can use your Windows 7 for 360 more days.
