Re: [www.keralites.net] BABY FOOD : MILK

Dear  Mr. Lal Krishna

Good to see your mail, In fact , I am also not  a doctor, but a mother with lots of experience.

We cannot say drinking this quality of milk is good or not , but since the child is drinking this quality , he may not be taking other good nutrious food , which he / she requires for his / her growth.

You can limit the milk- One glass in the moring, and another glass in the evening - or bed time.  and also  add boiled vegetables, dhal, etc  in her / his diet.

But if you present this to your  IN LAW , you may not get a good result - so better you can take the child to a Child specialist , near by , and check with him for the diet, later , you can inform the family about what he doctor said , and I feel his advise will be okay with them too.

Best Wishes

Dear group members,

I am a member of this group, want to know regarding my 22 month old son.

We are staying in delhi with my in laws, both we are working, so the total care of my son is rest with my in laws. Due to their over concern towards my son,in laws giving around1.5 ltr packet milk in a day to my son.

He is normally having his foodswith little bit hesitation and no other problem noticed due tothis food habit. However I am afraidabout the quantity of milk given tohim.

If somebody in this group is willing to advise me regarding the matter quoted above, I will be greatful to him/her.
