Re: [www.keralites.net] Govt. Schools and Private Schools In Kerala - Need Advice

HI Mr. Mathew,

Please do not comment as below because there are so many Govt schools having good reputation and 100% pass results. There are many having 100% fail results also. It depends. The standard of the schools depends upon the management and dedication of the teachers.

So Mr. Babu,
You may keenly survey the  previous years academic standard and results of the nearby schools (whether management or Government), thereafter you decide where to admit your child.

Best regards
Chakrapani

Dear Babu

Govt. School teachers have good experience and selected by the PSC, but they have the security of job and have the protection of one or other trade unions, so they do not teach and are not answerable to any one if they students do not perform. Whereas in Private schools, the teachers are low paid and do not have security of service and can be dismissed in a day if they do not perform, so they try their best to teach the children to improve the results as their continuance in job depend on the performance of the children. So the private schools are definitely better.
