|     If you'd like to see eight magnificent vessels that harken back to the early days of maritime, set your sails for Duluth July 28-August 3. By Wednesday, July 28, Duluth will have welcomed all eight grand Tall Ships, a fleet of international and domestic vessels racing to six cities in the U.S. and Canada. This is Lake Superior's only port of call for the Great Lakes United Tall Ships Challenge® 2010. The Tall Ships® Duluth 2010 festival atmosphere encompasses Bayfront Festival Park and Harbor Drive behind the DECC. There will be food and refreshments, a "Pirate School," musical performances, family activities, educational programs and a Green Village hosted by Great Lakes United. Another major highlight of the festival is the performance of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance," arranged by the University of Minnesota Duluth's School of Fine Arts. Beginning Thursday, July 29, Pirates of Penzance will be performed nightly at 6 p.m., combining the talents of the region's top performers.
