Re: [www.keralites.net] Kaa'ba and now ZamZam

ABOUT ZAM ZAM

Makkah City is located in the valley, according to SGS (Saudi GeologicalSurvey) as a broad basin that supplies this catchment area of 60 Km2only, certainly not too wide as a receiver basin rain.Water source wells of Zam-zam water mainly from rain that fell in the area around Mecca.

this is just hydrological wells that are in need of regular maintenance. This well maintenance, including maintaining water quality and environmental hygiene wells and maintain water supply to be able to meet the needs of pilgrims in Makkah .Land clearing for settlement in Mecca around very neatly to avoid a reduction in the capacity of these wells.

Zamzam water has no colour or smell, but it has a distinct taste, and its pH is 7.9–8.0, indicating that it is alkaline to some extent and is similar to seawater.

The above picture shows the location of the well of Zamzam is located in the middle of the valley that extends.Haram Mosque located in the middle between the hills, the hills around it.Wide catchment area which is just 60 square km is certainly small enough tocapture rain water that is very rare place in Makkah, which requiremonitoring and maintenance are very special.

Well of Zamzam was, once again in view of (scientific) hydrogeology, just like ordinary dug wells. Not too special compared to other wells dug. However, because these wells religious significance, it needs to be maintained. Many who put hope in this well water because the well is believed to bring fortune. Some claimed wells can also be dried when unchecked.Even if we know the story well is found again by Abdul-Muttalib (grandfather of Prophet Muhammad SAW) after missing buried 4000 years (?).

First, there are well over a building with an area of 8.3 mx 10.7 m = 88.8 m2.Between the years 1381-1388 H building was removed to expand the compass it round.Until the place to drink Zamzam water is transferred to the basement.Under this land provided the drinking zam-zam water to a total of 350 tapwater (220 faucets for men and 130 faucets for women), living inmale-female were separated.

Monitoring and maintenance of the well of Zamzam

Currently building on the well of Zam-Zam seen the picture above it is not thereanymore, even where the entrance to the basement even this has beenclosed. So the space for worship Thawaf become more widespread. But if you're observant fit Thawaf still we can see no sign of where the well is located. The well is located approximately 20 meters east of the Kaaba.

Monitoring and maintenance of the well of Zamzam

The number of pilgrims to Mecca thirty years ago only 400 000 per year(ditahun the 1970s), continued to increase to more than a millionpilgrims annually in the 1990s, and currently has more than 2.2 million.Surely this well that required maintenance is one of the wonders and the main attraction for pilgrims.

The Saudi government certainly can not just let the silent surrender of this well preserved by God through the natural process. But the government of Saudi Arabia which has now been scientifically modern and scientifically establish a special agency in charge of this well of Zamzam.Looks like Saudi Arabia are also not simply believe it to surrender to God as a guard, but it is believed humans have to maintain the blessings ofthis well.

Health risks and sale

In May 2011, a BBC London investigation found that water marketed as having been taken from the Zamzam Well contained high levels of nitrate, potentially harmful bacteria, and arsenic at levels three times the legal limit in the UK.[7] Arsenic is a carcinogen, raising concerns that Muslims who regularly consume commercial Zamzam in large quantities may be exposed to higher risks of cancer. The British Food Standards Agency has in the past issued warnings about water claiming to be Zamzam containing dangerous levels of arsenic;[8] such sales have also been reported in the UAE, where it is illegal to sell Zamzam.[3] The Saudi government has prohibited the commercial export of Zamzam from the kingdom.[3] However, there is a strong commercial demand for Zamzam which hasresulted in continued commercial distribution of water alleged to beZamzam.

The BBC's findings have drawn mixed reactions from the Muslim community.[9] Environmental health officer Dr Yunes Ramadan Teinaz told the Britishbroadcaster about commercially marketed Zamzam that, "People see thiswater as a holy water. They find it difficult to accept that it iscontaminated, but the authorities in Saudi Arabia or in the U.K. musttake action."[10] The Saudi authorities have stated that water from the well was testedby the Group Laboratories of CARSO-LSEHL in Lyon, licensed by the French Ministry of Health for the testing of drinking water. According toreports of these results, the level of arsenic in Zamzam water taken atits source is much lower than the maximum amount permitted by the WorldHealth Organization.[11] The Saudi authorities have thus said that the water is fit for human consumption.[12] Zuhair Nawab, president of the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS), hasclaimed that Zamzam is tested on a daily basis, in a process involvingthe taking of three samples from the well. These are said to be examined in the King Abdullah Zamzam Water Distribution Center in Mecca, whichis equipped with advanced facilities.

Even after exposing a lot of false claims by fake Muslim Scholars still it is continuing… …………………

New claim – You cannot see birds in Kabba.

Some Doubts on this claim are as follows:-

1) If it is so what is the advantage?

2) Who made research on this?

3) Since non Muslims cannot enter in to Mecca and Medina how we can believe this claim?

4) What is the intention behind these types of fake claims?(Not yours but the one who claim this)

My dear Muslim brothers – please don't spoil your life in the name of religion. Before spreading such claims please enquire about the fact. There will be a lot of fake scholars (eg: Zakir Naik) with hidden agendas who get the clap from low class Muslim audiences. It doesn't mean they are correct. Please think, analyze each and every statement scientifically, rationally and logically and then accept or go behind them. Be a true Muslim like APJ Abdul Kalam.
