Fried bitterguord is a hot snack that is crisp and tasty.

Ingredients 

1. Bittergourd sliced thin - 100 grams,
    Green chilly (sliced long) - 5 nos,
    Onion (sliced thin) - 1 big,
    Ginger (sliced into long pieces) - 1 piece,
    Garlic (sliced long) - 10
    flakes thin coconut pieces - 2 nos,
    Vinegar -2 big spoons,
    Salt - 1 small spoon,
    Sugar - 2 small spoons,
    Turmeric powder - 1/2 small spoon

2. Oil - as required
3. Curry leaves - a few

Preparation 

The thin bitter guard pieces , green chillies, onion, ginger, garlic, coconut, vinegar, salt, sugar, turmeric powder should all be mixed well with hand. Keep the mixture aside for about half an hour. Squeeze off the excess water. Heat oil in a pan and put the bitter guard mix into it. Remove the pieces from oil when it gets crisply fried. Roast the curry leaves too in the remaining oil and garnish the bitter guard fry with it.
