My view is also the same. Such things happen but it occured at very late and there was no time to rectify. Added to that nature's fury also contributed its might.
The guilty and corrupt officials must be punished heavily.
During Asiad 82,we were not so wealthy or powerful as now and there was oppsition to conduct Asiad 82 in our country. However there was some patriotism and dedication was there. hence there was not so many issues and failure. We should raise this in forums and other platforms.
regards.

Dear Friends, All round the globe there are many engineering Failures happening by the Industry spearheads who are believed to be the trend setters or bench markers in the term of quality & quantity policies. But the media or the other mediums of the local country had never made such an hype of it as they know the implications & litigations arising out of this may defame the country. We are having Commonwealth games in New Delhi, we should feel proud of our nation to organize such a big event which will not only bring in sports stars of the world but it will boost tourism, new business investments & various other development which is directly or indirectly related to the CWG 2010. I know there have been many financial turmoils but if any Individual or a group has done that... then why should the country or its 2 Billion people would be ashamed in front of whole world. They are not blaming an Individual/Group they are just laughing on us.. we the Indians who are the third most powerful countries in world (According to a survey, 1. USA, 2. China, 3. India)In contrary i am not saying that the cheaters (if any) should be left alone, an independent bench of supreme court & CID should investigate the loopholes and bring out the people who are corrupted the nations pride.I am not a journalist or a writer but i don't know why i thought i should write this. i also don't know whether it will be read by any one or will be just deleted as any other spam mail.
I love my country & sincerely request you all at the Kerala community to at least avoid any mails relating the CWG Scam or other issues till the Game starts... because if the CWG Games do not happen due to these issues then it will be a bigger shame for Indians...An Indian
