| | Every country has its own special kind of foods. So unique that you can only find them in that country, appreciated by those people and people outside their cultures just finds it strange. Some love it, others just hate it. Let me introduce to you some of the Philippines delicacy. 1. BALUT  Balut is a two week old duck egg with a premature chick inside. They are cooked in boiling water and eaten with salt or with vinegar. Balut has three parts, the yellow part which could be the yolk, the white hard part and of course the chick. To eat a balut, you first make a small hole in the balut egg, sip the juice inside, and then eat the remaining part except for the white part which is hard to eat. You will find a balut vendor anywhere. They can be on the street and you will recognize them when you hear a man with a basket shouting "balut". They can sometimes be found just sitting on the street selling it. Although this food is famous in the Philippines, other Asian countries also have this. 2.Isaw  Isaw or the gizzards are the intestines of the chicken or the pigs. Cleaned very well then they would boil it first before putting it on the sticks. Betamax are actually hardened pig blood cut into squares and put on the stick. Adidas is for the chicken feet, helmet is for the chicken's head. Walkman is the pig's ear. 3.DINUGUAN  Dinuguan or a blood stew is also famous here in the Philippines. Filipinos eat this with rice or with puto or rice cake… Dinuguan is made up of pig's blood and pork meat and sometimes with intestines cut into small pieces. There are variety's of ways that the Dinuguan is cooked depends on the town. Some of them are soupy, others are just dried. 4.STUFFED FROG  Some frogs are known as poisonous creature as they have poison substance secreted in their body, and this poisonous substance can kill human in minute. But Filipino people are used to make dish from the flesh of Frog or they called it stuffed frog. According to them, it tastes like chicken at first and they are. 5. KAMARO  This is one of the insect that commonly found inside your house during night time but usually they are living under the soft soil and they are getting outside during rainy season. According to them, this is the most delicious foods during drinking sessions. They used to cook this insect at any form of dish as long as it taste delicious but commonly they cooked in way of frying or fried kamaro. Before cooking this kind of exotic food you must removed the wings and the legs to avoid scratchy texture while eating it. 6.KWEK KWEK  It Also called "tukneneng," this ball made of quail eggs and some orange batter is best eaten with lots of vinegar.
